As I try to type words on
the wasteland of this blank
page, my cat obsessively paws
at the back of the laptop screen,
needle nails scratching on hard
plastic. Struggling to write what goes
on inside my congested, thumping
brain, her penmanship says more
than my keystrokes can. This is
all about communication and she
is often better at it than I.
